I mainly work on Toshiba and Comdial so please forgive my ignorance here. I've got a non profit that wants us to help them expand there existing Norstar Plus Compact DCS. As far as I can tell, it is set up as a 308 with 7 M7310 phones and no voice mail. They want to add 3 more phones and voice mail. I'm not sure if it is worth it or if the voice mail that goes with this system (Flash 4?)will support there needs.

They want:
Full time auto attendant
Single digit routing to different extensions or departments
When a caller goes to a mailbox, they want the caller to be able to hit a digit to exit out of the mailbox and be transferred off site to a cell phone of the mailbox owner.

Will the Norstar system support this?

Yes it will, However everything depends on what your software is. Is the s/w in the KSU restricted or expanded? Restricted gives you only 8 extension and 4 lines.

What version is the ksu s/w? What is the version for the Flash?

Haven't purchased a voice mail yet-we are trying to decide if it is worth it to expand this system or just start over with a new one.

I don't know the KSU software version. Will have to go back out and check.

Call Pilot is better if the software is 4.1 or higher.
