Hey guys,
I have a customer that has a CP100. I need the AA to answer after 4 rings & be able to leave a message as soon as the grt is done, but I'm doing something wrong, right now it's answering after 4 rings goes to Main Grt but when it finishes there is a silence for 13sec then transfers to recep rings 4 times then another grt & am able to leave msg. This is too long a process! Do I need to disable something?
Thx in advance!

It sounds like you haven't built the CCR with a "Leave Message Point", where the caller hit's say "7" or whatever to get into the LMP path?
Without that option being selected by the "caller", the AA assumes you're on a dial phone, thus sending it to reception, where she doesn't answer.

Dave's suggestion will work.
If you just want the call to default to a mailbox without pressing anything, remove the DN in the operator field. This will force 0 calls and no digit pressed calls to the general mailbox.

aperalesny1:
The BEST way to do this is the following: Set up Greeting 1 for Table 1. Set Table 1 for CCR 1. Path 0 in CCR 1 is "Transfer to Voice Mail" Do NOT use MENU for path 0 Of course use your own numbers for table, greeting and CCR.
Call will get answered by AA. Greeting 1 plays whatever. As soon as Greeting 1 finishes, Path 0 in CCR 1 takes over. It immediately transfers to VM xxx.
Task completed.

NT I've never tried that one... My only question, can you dial a DN before you get to the CCR... I don't think you can. It's been my experience that when using CCR on the CP you have to wait until the greetin is done and CCR kicks in before the CP will accept digits.

Yes you can. Just make your Greeting long enough so there is time to press digits before it goes to CCR. Once it goes to CCR, then it is too late.......in this senereo. That is why you need to say, "If you know your party's ext dial it NOW. And now I will say a bunch of other stuff just to give you extra time."
