i just changed out an old 824. upgraded to mics w/6.0
softwr. The volume is low so I set the settings to
receiver volume. It only works on the speaker. Set the rocker volume to high, hang up, go off hook again on speaker and the high sound is still there. Not so with the handle. I am thinking it is because the 7310's he has are an older version. I remember it working on 7316's . any ideas????

In the MICS programming you should have what is called set volume and system volume. If you enable set volume then your volume is set per phone. In other words, if you increase your speaker, and or handset volume then it stays set to whatever you adjusted it to. If you enable system volume, then when your call is terminated, the volume resorts back to the system volume.

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about little.

Yes, I've had this problem with very old M7310 telephones. Try a T series or a newer M7310.

I did set it to set instead of system. but i think it is the older version of 7310 that does not allow it to stay increased. thanks
