MICS, R5, PRI.
I am using a hunt group for 2 faxes with one DID assigned to it. I need the calling faxes to get a busy signal,is that possible with a MICS? If so how do I set it up? When both faxes are busy I am getting open ringing.

Why not try putting the DID on the first fax extension and on that extension make the "forward on busy" the extension of the second fax extension. Then on the second fax extension, make the "forward on busy" the first fax extension. You will need to use an Analog terminal adapter for each fax machine or an ASM.

Hunt group needs the following parameters...

Type: Sequential

Assign DN's to HG in the order you want them to ring.

On Busy: BUSYTONE if it's set to overflow or queue the caller will get ring back.

Target Line assigned to hunt group to prevent DRT and transfer recall timer from taking effect.

Telemarv, I will change the type to sequential(rotary now), I have the rest of the parameters set the way you described.
Phone Guy, I have it set to busy in taret line settings already.
I will be back on that site in a couple of days, I will make the change and test it and post another reply whether it works or not.
Thanks
