We don't work on these much so I need help. On auto attendant the greeting will play - at the end of the greeting if no digits are pressed it will play a previously recorded greeting and we can't find that greeting in greetings 1 though 30. We even thought it might be transferring to a station with a gretting set up as a main greeting at the end of the real auto attendant greeting. We listened to all of the mail box greetings in the system and that is not the problem. We want it to either repeat the menu again or possibly transfer to the operator's station.

It is either a table instruction message or a CCR home greeting. Either will play after a greeting.

The first message is what thy recently recorded and is playing correctly. Then it plays another greeting and after that the system either says "the operator is currently unavailable" or it says "leave a message at the tone".

AA first plays the Greeting.
Then it plays the AA Menu Prompt.
Then if nothing is dialed it transfer to the operator.
If no operator is avail it goes to General Delivery.

AA menu prompt is in your TABLE.
I usually delete it by recording a new prompt of 1 sec of dead air. ie turn my mute on, hit record wait one sec and hit stop, accept.

The operator not avail or you don't have an attendant assigned, is in your operator settings.

OR like telemarv said if you have CCR assigned in the table, then it goes to the CCR and plays that greeting (menu).

P.S. Does the extra gretting sound something like: "....dial your ext now or press # for the directory..." ? Then it is your AA menu prompt.

If CON is the opposite of PRO
Then what is the opposite of Progress?
