DTI cards have nothing to do with quantity of target lines... software does.

You need 1 per PRI. I believe you can only have the 2 in a MICS and they have to be in the core. You'll also need the clocking services card and it would be wise to get a combo card. Also the PRI enabler key. It sounds as though he may be setting up a call center. You will probably have to upgrade the version to 7.1 Or, it may be time to bring him up to a BCM. More Info. is needed and 1 of the NT Mods. could offer more specific details. MrG

The question should not be how many cards you need. The question should be: How many calls at the same time are going to be needed.
You can have 150 DID numbers but only 15-20 will be in use at the same time: 1 card will do. (one circuit)
You can have 40 DID number and need 38 calls going at one time: you need 2 cards. (2 circuits)
Each T1 card can only handle 23 calls at one time. With XC software you can get 3 T1 cards in the system.
And then like "telemarv" says, the software level determines how many Target lines are available. I don't have those numbers readily handy. Sorry.

Like NTlayoff says, it depends on the traffic as to how many (DTI) cards you will need. You could have a 100 DID numbers and only one DTI card.

Current MICS' max out at 223 DIDs (target lines). From Line 157 to 380. Regardless of how many T-1/PRI circuits are connected.
You can have a total of 3 T-1 cards in the system: 2 in the KSU and 1 in a 12x0 (which renders the other 2 slots in the 12x0 useless) if you use XC software. You need a Services Card in the expansion slot or a 6-port combo card (recommended).
Some one told me once that if you are running 3 T-1s that you shold have 2 combo cards. I never verified this info, though.....could be BS!
Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).

Jack, the 2 COMBO Cards are recommended so you will have enough DTMF receivers to handle the inbound calls. So the info was good....have a good Turkey Day everyone
