Customer has new MICS 7.0 with three PRI's, new call center enhanced with new CCRS. (four months old) They want a file with all calls in and out. (to research abandonded calls) Currently logging via serial port on a PC to TXT file. Seems during peak periods (11am and 4pm)the SMDR6 goes into "records lost" mode. Replaced SMDR6 with another new. Moved to within first 32 DN's same results. Defaulted SMDR6, changed NO settings (setup PC to match smdr settings) Tried several call accounting packages, they all rely on SMDR, which keeps failing me. Could it be "overloading"? Would a second SMDR "share the load"?

I do not believe you can run two SMDR's on an MICS. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
