I have a BCM 400 that has 22 kim's attached to 22 T7316's and when we program autodials on the Kim's (always last row, 4th button down) the system freezes and then resets. When it comes back up, all did's that were appear & Ring have changed to Ring only, ones that were appear only are gone, and most of the phone button programming is in default.

How do you have the KIM configured?
If it is a CAP then you can only have auto-dial buttons. If you want Line Appearances then it needs to be config'd as an eCap.
Version 3.7 says only 12 eCaps per system.
Version 4.0 does not say anything. Either they left out the max info, or it doesn't have a max. My bet: They forgot to put it in.
If CON is the opposite of PRO
Then what is the opposite of Progress?

It is only configured with autodials not lines - we have looked at all documentation and it only talks about for 4 or more kims on one set you need power supply. I have heard there is a patch for this and am investigating.

The T316 has DID's - The Kims have autodials - it effects the phone too.

NT was right. The 4.0 can only have 12 eCAPs and no more than 4 on any one phone.
I would look to see if your patches are up to date also, as Nortel has had issues with KIM's affecting the 4.0 since it came out.

They are not ECaps - they are Kims's - 1 per set. I understand there may be a patch for this which we are looking into.
