what does Nortel call a DID on a MICS manual??? I have searched for DID programming and I can't find it on a MICS manual.ANy info would be greatly appreciated.

how do I swap DID's??? Customer has a ATA for a fax but the DID that is programmed in is not a working DID so I need to change it to a new DID and I can't find DID programming anywhere in the manual

DID's are programmed as Target Lines! Access programming and check the line assignment for your ATA.

ok, I didn't find anything with that...I checked the line assignment for my ATA ext but didn't see where to add the DID??????????????????

ok, i tried to put a 7316E set on the port the ATA was on and none of the buttons are functional....any ideas if this has anything to do with my DID issue???

What do you mean by not functional?? Does the date/time show up in the display? or is the display blank? Did any of your diplay buttons flash when you plugged the phone in?
Sounds like a wiring problem. or worst case bad port, but I would check your wiring.

the display worked and the phone lit up like they are suppose to but once it was done booting none of the buttons work, not even the numbers... And i know its not a wireing issue because I used my test star and connected it directly to the block...
