Hi All,
What is the procedure to setup a usb flash drive on bcm 400, NT not being plug and play and all but I couldn't find anywhere to set it up. I also backed up bcm but only to the local drive, tried every which way to backup to my laptop but always received errors, I made sure the permissions on my laptop where wide open for that share etc, but it wouldn't go.
Also is there a way to transfer the backup off the local E: drive on the bcm to a usb flash drive
I don't have any manual for 3.6 so I was just reading one I found for 4.0 which is different
Any help would be appreciated, 15 yrs working on Nortel but not BCM

I'm certainly a novice with the BCM side of Norstar but I seem to remember someone saying that the flash had to be configured to Fat 32 or some such. That would account for errors writing to the flash.

I don't think you can back up the BCM to the USB drive. Thats only works for rel.4.0 and BCM50. I have the the management manual. PM with email.
