Can some help me with this problem: My customer has this problem. The message that I get is " The system was unable to reach the # that you specified for message notification." Today I came in to 2 new messages and 7 saved messages. I listened to the first message which was yours. After listening I hit 8 to delete it and the message that I stated came up. Now the system is showing 8 saved messages which I cannot retrieve. So the second message went into the saved bin automatically. Hope this helps. Message notification is disable

You would only get that message when notification is on and it tries to call the cell phone (or whatever number) and the call can't go thru (due to bad programming, busy signal, no answer) after the retries (set in Class of Service) is reached it puts that message in your mail box.
When you listen to a message and do NOT delete it, it will go into your saved message bin. Just open up your Voice Mail Box - listen to the message, then delete it.

When you open your mail box, it shows how many NEW and SAVED messages. If you hit 2 it plays your NEW messages, when all done if you hit 6 it goes to the first saved message. If you only want to listen to saved messages and not new ones, then hit 6 instead of 2 when you open mail box.

I had a similar situation, in which the customer could not listen to any of the saved messages. I deleted the mbox and rebuilt it. Problem gone. This is a CP 100. Wonder if this is a known problem to Nortel?
