I am hoping you might be able to help me out here. I know the Avaya stuff but not the Nortel stuff.
At my new job, where somehow I became responsible for the phone system we have a Nortel BCM 50 system.
We are looking to extend some extensions to remote locations. Not a problem as we can put IP phones there.
Here is the question, we have another location where there are three people working and it is a very large area with different work stations. There is a Partner system there now. I am wondering if anyone knows of a way of hanging a VOIP ATA off of the BCM (ie SPA-2002) then I would just put those into the co ports on the partner. So, each line becomes one of the extentions from the BCM and can be answered at any of the phone sets.
Hopefully this long winded question made sense.
Thanks Jim
