I'm frustrated! I've obviously left something out.
CPManager CCR 1 properties show the call transferring to mailbox 60, with an outdial method of pool 1, and a phone number of 1+10 digits.
Mailbox Admin for mailbox 60 is COS 1, outdial pool 1.
COS 1 includes outbound transfer.
At the phone outdialing is set to on, with the same 1+10 digit phone number found in CCR 1.
Calls coming in routed to extn 60 get the mailbox name and when you dial 7 to transfer externally the system grabs a line, waits a few seconds, then tells you that "The routing information configured for this call is not valid."
Someone please set me straight. I'm all bent over for that swift kick!

Out dialing is done by destination code and route.
You must create a destination code ie 9. And route that specifies what to do when a 9 is dialed.
Your outdial string would then be 9+number.

Then, could I use as my DestCode 9, Use route 000, Digit Absorb Length 0, First Route 001, then route 001 to use pool a (default)with no dial out digits, or should I absorb all dialed digits and then use route 001 to dial 9+1+10 digits?
I sure appreciate you taking the time with me.

I would build a route. route 001 uses pool 1.
Dest code uses route 1 absorb 0
Keep in mind if you are using 9 as a pool code you can't use it as a destination code.
You could drop the pool code and just use a dest code for all outbound traffic.

Thanks, I'll give that a try next week when I get caught up on the workload. Glad you added the part about the pool code!
