Intermittent problem with 1-way audio on a MICS 7.0 PRI. Call doesn't drop, outbound audio stops on a call that was working fine. Inbound audio fine throughout. Inbound calls, outbound calls, local, LD, landlines, cell phone numbers -- no pattern found. Module 2, slot 3 is a T1 used for 4-digit/network dialing; slot 4 is the PRI. Have replaced cards first, then replaced the whole KSU, no change.
This is not a T1 problem -- the T1 never goes down, there is no alarm, no history.
Now, the problem began in a 6.1 system -- I thought it a 6.1 problem. I did a backup, restored to a 7.0 spare system. Might it be a buggy problem that followed the data backup/restore?
Figure the PRI provider will find this idea difficult, asking for your two-cents worth, please. I haven't seen this one before, hoping you have.
Thanks all, royb

Was this a standard PRI or a VOIP based PRI?
