 I'm assuming you are talking about a CP on Norstar. Yes you can. Over a network VPN or using a FastRAD and NRU software.

Once you have established your VPN connection, you simply open your internet browser and enter the local IP address of the call pilot.

i may need a lesson or 2 on setting up a vpn its time to get up to speed on that anyway but is it possible to set up port forward on their router to do the same job or is there a security risk .i have set up some of my cctv/dvr systems that way and works pretty well .

VPN setup is really dependant on the vpn router you're using.
I suggest you post your question in the networking forum.
