i have aquired a bcm 400 3.0 that was not being used.phones were up but could not acess through laptop. lights are flashing on front. replaced base function tray to the blue resistors.no luck tho.noticed hard drive light was not coming on upon restart of system.replaced w/3.0 harddrive programmed.booted up still lights are flashing.i can acess through telnet on ethernet port can also ping 10.10.10.1 using xover cable.any help would be appreciated.

When you telnet into it, you have to choose option 1, option 1, and option 1 again. The system will reboot a couple of time. Give it about 30 minutes. To put in layman's terms, this will "marry" the hard drive with the MSC card (where telephony programming is stored. Good luck...

the system cannot find the batch label specfied-mscmenu.setting leds to 3001033.running sequence calldoupload.the system cannot find the path specified. starting msc core upload....
system is displaying this and keeps playing a tone every 1min are so. is this normal

Is it looping over and over? What happens if you do a hard reset?

the system has lights 2,4,6,7,8,9,10 lit solid but does not reconize the msc cards. its like its missing files are something. the v-mail is not noticed and i still can not get into programming through 10.10.10.1.but can go in through telnet.

I had the same type of problem on a BCM1000. I changed the ip address from from default using telnet. I was able to connect through web browser.
