I am unable to get remote notification to work on a call pilot 100, I currently have the mailbox set to call a 7 digit cell number,I also turned it on immediately after inputting the number.
I have 1 channel set for remote notification, as well as line pool 1 set as outdial pool.

I actually tried to select a certain trunk # also.
This attempt also failed.

I am sure that some one that frequents this message board can help me here.
Thanks in advance,
Tazmanian

I believe this is set in up with "Routes". Try doing a search within the Nortel forum and you'll get the answer.

Set up a route and assign.

10 digit dialing will work.

External notification does not require route/destination. It can be done with a line pool. Be sure your COS for the mailbox allows external notification.

Make sure your number is correct. You say you used 7 digit number. Do you not need to use 10 digit in your area? Most everywhere does now.

We have a couple of 7 digit cell numbers here. It allows a local call from a landline to a cell phone, avoiding a LD charge. Cell to cell requires 10 digits, like normal.

Since you have to set it up anyway, I'd use the 10 digit number. Eventually you'll need it anyway and thus saving the steps later to change it. It won't effect your L/D invoice at all.

I greatly appreciate the input provided by the forum.Problem ended up being the fact that I needed to set a schedule for delivery times before it would
work.
Fact is, I need to use CDs more. Have a tendacy to use my old NAM books instead of dragging out the laptop and CD rom.
Just thought I would let everyone know.
Thanks again
