Howdy,

So I installed a RAD on a Norstar CICS (rel 5?) and wired it on to an extension. I dial in to the automated attendant and use the Norstar Remote Utilities and nuthin'

So, I'm apparently missing some set up stuff? The manuals don't seem to cover it.

Could anyone help me with setting up a RAD?

Thanks!

The manual doesn't cover it because you can't access a RAD via the AA. Why are you not using the built in IRAD?

Ok, so I confirmed my system has verison 7.1 with an IRAD. So I'll need to go on site and set the password, enable remote admin and set an auto DN? to what and also it says I can call in to the auto attendant, put in the auto DN and from a touch tone phone enter FEATURE ** xxx for the remote admin feature code. But how would I enter FEATURE from a touch tone phone?

We're not supposed to put up feature codes right?

Thanks!

Feature codes are fine... no passwords.

The AA referred to in the manual is the the built in AA. Not an external unit such as one in a voice mail.
