I am trying to setup a call transfer with a CallPilot 100 using the call transfer feature with the telco. I cannot put Feature 71 into route 001 and cannot get the system to send a flash-hook to the telco to initiate the outbound call. I cannot use the conference feature (press 7) because we experience too much loss on the lines to be usable. Has anyone been able to get this to work? The manual says to put a # in front of the phone number to make the system use the same line but I cannot make it work. Do we need a specific software level to use this feature?

F70 is a hook-flash(Transfer)and I believe you need allow Line Redirect to make F71 to work.

Do the lines have the Link Transfer feature on them? Also, try putting a # at the end of the phone number.

Vad60: I will check on the Line re-direct to make sure it is allowed. Is it F70 or F71 for a flash-hook to the telco? I think it is F71 and am not sure what F70 is.

pts technician: the lines have 3-way and call transfer on them from the Telco.

Thanks to both of you for the input, I will let you know what I find.

If you pick the line and dialF70 Transfer will come up on display. it's better to have a Centrex line for the VM transfer to work.

Do I need to do the F70 for a transfer before I send a flash to the CO?

F70 is the Norstar transfer. This will not utilize the telco transfer. You need to have the F71 in the dialing string.

Link transfer in a CP is accomplished by putting a # as the first character in the dialing string.

Depending on the system (you don't say) you may have to enable "Link at CO".

Make sure "Link Transer" is on the lines.
