Hey all, running a BCM 400 for a couple years now when all of a sudden, the CallPilot changed it extension! It was listening on DN 450, now it says 449. This seemed to happen after a reboot. Feature 981 still works for opening voicemail and it uses Voice Port 450, but when I try dialing Intercom 450 is says "450 busy" after a few seconds. When I try Intercom 449, it says Not Allowed... All existing digital sets still point to 450 for Call Forward No Answer, which obviously won't work, it just rings and rings forever.
After goofing around with it for a day I decided to restore a backup from two months ago, no effect. Actually made it worse because now I have three mailbox numbers that still exist and can't be deleted, these were created post-backup. I guess that's my second question.
ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Calling the DN's is not an acurate method. F985 will tell you the pilot DN of the Call Pilot.

True, that also reports back 449.

Does it connect on jacks? I had one of two cords un-plugged or the cords reversed by some other tech one time and the Dn changed. Screwed up all the call forwards.

Does what connect on jacks, the phones? DN 450 is still in the list of available Voice Ports, viewed through BCM Monitor, and does work when accessed via Feature 981.

Why do you say DN-450 works when accessed via F981??? When you do a F981 it automatically uses the DN that is reported from F985.

What you seem to fail to understand is that it uses two ports, but in this case the main DN is 449 as per your F985, followed by 450.
You have obviously programmed the VM wrong, aiming towards DN 450, when you should have aimed to 449.

DN 450 has been working for two years up until last Monday, all 40 digital stations are still pointing at it, it's just not listening anymore. DN 449 acts like it's listening but says Not Allowed when you try to dial it, and will drop the call if you try to forward to it. When I view the active ports through BCM Monitor, the first DN to pick up when dialed by Feature 981 is 450. When dialed by Intercom 450 it gives a busy signal.
