I have a customer with a CP100 with basic call center. They want to have ACD stats on their computer screen. I believe to do that I need Reporting for Call Center installed on a PC and that will support the IPView software wallboard.

Is that correct? Can it be done with a CP100 and basic call center?

Basic Call Center won't support Reporting for Call Center, to my knowledge.

You will need Call Center Professional (or whatever Nortel is calling it this week) and I think to install professional you will need to choose between having Call Center or Voice mail. I have been told the CP100 won't support both.

According to Nortel you have no problens of using Reporting software on CP100 but I was trying to make it work for almost a month and couldn't. I had Nortel for support and we couldn't make it work. Separetly you can connect to Client or Server but get a Skillset download to report screen not a chance. BTW Jimmy, no wallboard is supported anymore. I've been told that BCM can Integrate with CC.

vad60: Was that with basic or with professional?

I want to make sure my info isn't faulty (as much of it seems to be these days...worn out brain...)

I have some BCMs running CC and Reporting very happily. That's a long way from a CP100, though.

BCM is running the same CallPilot builed in and you are right it's working fine but MICS...! You can install on CP100 either one Professional or Basic.

I was told by one of our sales engineers that the CP100 wouldn't support reporting and if you went with professional then you had to choose between CC or VM and they said because of this to push CP150.

I have installed a few basic CCs in a CP100, but not professional.

well thanks guys. unfortunately I've heard both stories:

1. yes you can have reporting for call center on an existing cp100 vm/aa with basic cc

2. no you must have professional call center to get the reporting feature.

the goal is to give the customer some stats on the PC screen. This is a MICS not a BCM.

Thanks for the clarity, jsaad.

I am even more impressed with the ability of the little CP100...
