I've setup my callpilot as Auto Attendant. I used the CCR Tree and to setup all the transfers. The following is the tree created. Greeting (Menu) 1) Sales (Transfer) 2) Warehouse (Transfer) 3) Direction (Menu) 3-1) Location 1 (Information) 3-2) Location 2 (Information) 3-3) Location 3 (Information) 4) Business Hours (Information) # for company directory Everything works good, but when a caller dials the following extension 222 it goes to menu option two which is warehouse. If the caller dials any other extension such as 205,241,242,229,240,230,239 etc, it goes to the appropriate party. Callers just can't reach extension 222. Any thoughts on why this may be happening? Or how I can fix it? Currently, I've setup everything by logging into the callpilot’s web gui. 1) How can I fix this issue? 2) Is there a way to change the extension? Please help! :bang:

That is because the extension number is all 2's,if you have an available port use that with the new extension number. You also have the ability to change the DN in programming, provided you stay within the Dn length and plan.

Thanks for such a quick reply. How can I change an ext. When I use Nortel's web interface, there is no option to change the ext. there. Any suggestions?

Best way to change the DN is to change it on the block.
An easier way would be to tell the callers "If you know the extension, please enter it now" BEFORE you give them the options. This is done is the "Company Greetings", not the CCR.

Ok, i went to company greeting and recorded the following:
"Thank you for calling *** if you know your parties 3 digit extension you may dial it now or press 0 to reach to operation"
Nothing happens. It just directs the caller to the CCR instead. There must be an alternate fix for this. My brain is completely blank at this point, i would love to hear more suggestions.
Thank you.

I have a Callpilot 150/mini, how do I change the DN? Thru the serial interface? I've browsed through the entire web interface and there is nothing there that allows me to change the DN.

Changing the DN isn't accomplished in the CallPilot. It is done in the phone system programming.

Look up...top of the page. You'll see a link to "manuals". Any/every manual you could imagine is available there.

One more thing, when you said the programming of DN is done in the phone system are you referring to Norstar?
