You have one of those problems that can't be nailed down and with new equipment it will be difficult in enlisting the customer to assist you with this endeavor. Some things to look for are: ksu to ksu; exp mod to exp mod; ksu to exp mod. Try pulling your fiber exp cards, clean the contacts and reseat then clean all your fiber tips.

PRI should help with white noise. Years ago, Nortel recommended it to clear white noise on one of our installs...know issue. I would plan on a Saturday and strip it down to the bare essentials to trouble shoot. Bite the bullet and get it resolved vs fighting during reg business hours and ending up with disgruntled customer. Of course, if it happens that frequently. Just my .02 after going through much of the same.

Your heading says intercom but are talking about line cards, makes me think its both internal and external prob. you have expansions on there for 90 phoness, chk ext #s n see if its in an expansion block, if not you should have warranty on KSU if u just swapped it out, I would consult vendor n get a new ksu, as for reprogramming it shouldnt take more than an hr and thats stretching it as you know what needs to be done

I usually use alcohol wipes, same ones that are included in fiber kits.
