Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum looking for some help w/ a Norstar M8x24. The problem I am having is when you plug the system in. All the stations just flashes and never come up. I have replaced the Carthage w/ one out of a working M8X24 but, it did not make any difference. Can anyone tell me what I need to do or how to resolve ? Thank You Very Much in Advance..  Cvg1jrm

 Depending on how big the setup is, it could take up to 5 minutes for the software to fully load and the sets to stop flashing.

Thank you very much for your reply..
What if it never seems to load ? The system will just flash no matter how long I wait. Is there any way to reset the system ?

Try taking it down to the "bare bones".
Remove any line connections.
Remove any expansion card.
Connect only one set on the first port.
Then power up and see what happens.
If you can ... let it flash overnight.
If it doesn't come up its toast.

Not necessarily. You may have the wrong software in the unit. For example, if you have DS software in a Non-DS cabinet, it will flash forever.
Also, if youre watching a M7100 phone with very old s/w it'll do the same.
