A customer has a BCM 50 that I installed back in March. It has 3.0 software, and they bought a 1220 IP phone. Went to install the phone, and it never connects. Tech support told me that maybe the system needed to be patched. Intalled patches and the phone still won't connect. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Make sure they have a keycode installed for ip client. Also make sure registration is turned on.

Auto registration is sometimes quirky. You may have to do it manually. also be sure you have an available IP license.
