I am looking for a way to mass produce custom labels
for T series telephones. It would be really great to
custom make as many as will fit on a standard sheet of printer paper and then use my scissors with the rounded(nothing sharp or pointed) ends to cut them out.
I am sure there is something out there other than the program on the CDs.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Try www.Desi.com. You can print them (2) to a sheet on regular copy paper.

There is a better way. On the CD that comes with a CICS, there is a program to print these.

Set them up the ay you want, meaning what buttons go where, or all blank for that matter. Set background colors as needed.

You can print 2 sets/sheet, then photocopy. Don't need sharp pointed scissors at all.

I am aware of the program under the Desktop Assistant option on the CD rom but the only one I am aware of is the basic pic of a T7316.
I would like to have a program that allows me to type in the key data, as well as a sheet for the Ext. window that would allow me to type in the Main LDN and ext. number.
I like to program up keys that I feel users should have with F980,F981,F986 and F987.
This gives me something to talk about during training.
If I am missing something from the Nortel CDs
please let me know.
Thanks

You make up the labels as you see fit, then print. What I do is "save as" and keep copies of the most frequent layouts.

When I instruct the clients, I tell them to "save as" each user name, so that if/when changes are made by them later on, they can easily make the needed changes.

I believe you can do all you want with it. I can't verify it now as I'm on vacation w/o the program here.

when the form prints, it prints the square box at the top of the phone, the 2 narrow strips along the sides and the ext tag for under the handset. You can even change font colors I think. Just play with it a little and you will find what you are looking for. It should do all you want. Or you could get a white sharpie...just kidding.

Thanks for the input, however, the CD rom program is for 1 set. I am looking for an Excel type program that will allow me to fit as many of the extension
labels(the one under the handset window)and permit me to use 2 sheets of printer paper with Exts. 222
thru 299 and then use scissors to cut them out.

Like wise I can use a similar program to create the custom labels for the assignable keys as well as the 8 programmable keys .

If I were more PC savy I could create my own.But I do not even know where to start.Problem is that I always init. system as Hybrid and do not think the keys that are labeled are ones station users need
as shortcuts to features.

I sold the job and do not want to have sharpie/ink labels. The bldg. will be new and phones labled
neatly, at least on the first day.
Thanks
