Hello there, can anyone tell me what the correct procedure is, to installing an M0x8A on an 0x32?,
the KSU only has 2 co cards, the last time I tried this I lost all memory on system.

If memory cartridge loosing memory on the power down then Install 0 x 8, power up and connect Fiber
Then go into Maintenance and Disable and Re Enable module.

It's been awhile since I have added modules to a MICS but doesnt the system do a port renumber when you ad an 0x8A module thus wiping out the extension programming ?

no it will assign extensions from wathever port in fiber cardits pluged in it wont change anything else
