I have a client that wants DID service, unforunately he has a CICS, so I will be upgrading him to a MICS with a trunk module and a DID trunk card.

Presently, he only needs 4 DID numbers set-up to ring into the system, but they will be adding additional DID numbers later on.

I will order the DID numbers from AT&T (minimum block of 20 DID #'s).

What programs will I need to set-up? (ie: Target lines, assigning target line to DN, mappng DID numbers to target lines, etc.)

My CD doesn't go into very much detail on DID set-up.

I plan on starting out with a simple set-up: (1) trunk module and (1) DID card.

Any assistance or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Smittydog

If youre going analog send me a PM, i have a few DID cards in stock that i have no need for and will give you a good deal. Otherwise, youre on the right track.

Just make sure you have settings correct on the DID trunka. Like wink start and expected digits. You can test the trunks with your buttset. Good luck.

Don't forget to do control sets so the calls go to the right mailbox at night instead of the main greeting.
