You have to use a Norstar digital phone to program the night button. Make sure the extension you want to have the night button on, is assigned in the Common Settings/Control Sets, area.

Are you having trouble programming the button or do you have the button programmed, but are getting an error when pressing it? What exactly is happening? Are you trying to activate an night bell, trying to send all calls to a Call Pilot after hours, or trying to ring a group of phones at night? There's many things you can do with night service...

If you want it to be a ringing service button (also commonly called "night" button), the feature is F*871 on a cics and on a mics. The feature *87 now supports restriction and routing services, 872 and 873.

The system is just waiting for you to put in the last digit

correct that: it is feature 871, no "*"...

I was probably looking at your fea*3 and it slipped in... Sorry!
