Hi, I couldn't find anything in the install manual on dail tone time out. My customer is complaining the line goes busy before he can finish dailing. I was out there today and dail tone is only present for like 10 to 15 sec. I told him to check with service provider. I know you can cahnge it on a PRI.
I have never had this problem with CICS. Is there a setting or is this a service provider issue. Oh also this is LS/DS card 6.1 sw

There is no adjustable time on how long the dial tone will sound before you start outdialing at least I don't know anything about it. So you have to start dialing during that time.

Dial tone timeout on a POTS line is controlled by the CO.
