I'm trying to help a salesperson out with a solution for a customer so I told her I would post here and see if you all would have any suggestions.

"I have a customer looking for a product that will simply answer incoming calls that come over a PRI, play a recorded "Thank you for your call, your call will be answered by the next available person". The calls are in a "queue", but not a true ACD environment, just in line for the next person that can answer incoming calls and ring the PBX. PRI terminates to a Cisco router, with Call Manager Processing. They also have Unity with Automated Attendant. They do not want to log on as agents as in a typical ACD enviroment"

Any suggestions?? In the past we used a product from Interalia, but they no longer have it.
Thanks

A traditional Call Sequencer is most commonly used with analog trunks. If calls are delivered via PRI and you don't want to use Cisco solution, you could hang an auto attendant off of a couple of analog station ports - with timeout action to hunt groups. Not exactly clean, nor inexpensive...

I haven't seen a call squencer in many years and never one for a PRI.

Local pizza places us a product built in England distributed out of Detroit called "Callworks".

As I understand it, it "queue"s the callers then processes the call after it strips the CID and does the CTI bit for caller name and address.

May or may not work for you.

I agree with Marv and Mike. I don't think that there is a call sequencer available that handles inbound calls over a PRI. The closest product I could locate was the Viking 12, but it doesn't support PRI calls either.
