I am having an issue getting outside dial tone on some M7100 sets I installed on a 616.
I thought I had programmed all the parameters but when I dial 9 on the sets it does not access outside dial tone.
My regular sets, M7310 & M7324 all work fine; it's just the M7100's that do not.
Any help would be appreciated. It's been a while since I installed a Norstar 616.
Thanks.

First - Are you running at least 5.1 software on the 6x16?? Otherwise M7100's are not compatible.
Did you give it Line pool access and all that? Can you dial another extension??
What does the display say when you pick up the phone? What does the display say when you press 9?

What the screen says when you dial 9 will give a hint where to look.
What happens when a 7310 or 7324 dial 9?
Most likely you have more lines (or no lines) programmed to the line pool than have dial tone.
