Ok...I have a 616 meridian/norstar system. From what I read off of the internet, I can buy an ATA box and convert one of my digital ports to analog? Are there any other things I must buy to do that?

The manual would help  Note that the ATA must match the s/w version.

Maybe yes, but most likely No. All it'll give you is the NT part number. Get the s/w version within Installer programming. If you don't know how to find that part, you shouldn't be playing around in there. Call in a pro for Nortel equipment.

The ATA-2 should work on all s/w versions. It should also come with a manual, if you buy it from a proper dealer.
If CON is the opposite of PRO
