I have a customer trying to forward their extension to their cell. When the phone is forwarded callers hear ring no answer and calls do not forward.
My question(s): Is there an older software release that does not allow the DID of a phone to be forwarded? If so when did this feature become available? The customer can't confirm that this feature has ever worked.

When you say the "calls do not forward", where do they go/end up?
How are you forwarding? Route/line?

If software lower then 4.1 then no PRI. If customer trying to forward DID then this line has to A & R on his phone and you can perform line redirect F84. If he wants forward his Ext. to cell then F4 > Icm > Number.

I'm thinking you have to make sure the Prime Set of the target line has to be the extension. I've heard of this problem and I think this is the fix.
