Hello,

I work for a small office and would like assistance with setting up our phones.

I am using a T7316 set. I have already managed to set up voicemail for each office extension. However, if a call goes unanswered, I would like for the caller to hear a pre-recorded company message, then select a pre-recorded option. (eg. Thank you for calling Scotch Ltd. If you know the extension of the person you wish to call, dial it now, for the company directory press 1).

I know very little about the operation of these phones, but have managed so far on what I was able to find on the internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I do not have a manual). And I am not very tech-savvy either :-)

Setting up CCR on a Nortel system is a fairly complicated process. I would suggest you hire someone to set it up for you and also get them to show you how to administer it once it's up and running.

So I take it its not as simple as a step by step process that I can follow?

Unfortunately there is no step by step process. Since each company generally requires a customized setup, there really isn't a template per say to go by.

If you can't find someone local in your area to help, you may contact any moderator of this forum for help off of the board. There is typically a charge for this as it can be an involved process. Then bonus is, you get to pick up a little training to aid you with the system in the future.

Goodluck
