I've got a customer with a door phone, well, more like a door bell with an intercom. It rings an extension when someone pushes the button at the door. My customer would like it to ring their cell phone instead of the extension.

Is there any way to program the door phone to ring a cell phone?

Thanks in advance

What kind of door intercom unit is it? You can make this happen with something like THIS where if using an analog station port, it can try an internal extension first and if not answered, it can try alternate numbers to dial. Of course, it can be set to simply dial the cell phone number as the only dialed number entry.

Telemarv, it's the Nortel Compact ICS, DR 1.0 software. The doorphone is made by Nortel, it is the BST.

EV607797, will THIS work with the Nortel Compact ICS.

Thanks again

Thanks Telemarv.

How far up does the customer have to upgrade in order to be able to do external call forwarding?

Thanks

Sorry for the delayed response to your question. Yes, if the system will provide an analog extension port. You should be able to use an ATA for this purpose.
