Caller id works but only after the call is answered. Ext 221 displays while ringing but all other do not. Caller id is active on all exts. Will a software ungrade fix this (I'm upgrading to 7.1 They have some t7316e sets buttons not working correctly systems see them as m7310 sets). Thanks

CID will show only on the ringing phone and comes between 1st & 2nd ring if your lines are POTS. 7.1 will take care of that 7316E functioning but CID will come up only on the ringing phones.

The upgrade to 7.1 will give you more options for the CID programming. You will be able to view the CID at any station while the call is ringing.
