I can not find any doc or service bulletin on this; I've registered a few IPs in my life and always done the same thing: wait for Nortel logo, then press buttons in order then enter config.
Any pertinent doc referring to the 2 phones above say process is the same, but it asks for a password. The only referenced password is color*set; but it does not give access to network config: they are greyed out; can only change VLAN through there, which I don't use.
The system is BCM 4.0; anybody seen this?
Yes, I'm a frenchie; have a problem with that?? Well, I do!!

Yanick, I know only that you have to press those 4 softkey as soon as Nortel Network comes up and wait.

Forget about it; found the problem. The sets are all in auto config... you need to put them in manual config.
It's mind-boggling how stupid I can be sometimes...
Think my head's already on vacation (1 day left) :toast:
