I have a question related to this topic and might help the original poster. Could he increase his simultaneous calls by installing a special T1 PRI card in his 12x0 trunk and adding a 3rd PRI/T1 connection? If he can what is the part number for the special card?

If you have 5 lines, then 5 max calls.
If you have 24 lines, then 24 max calls.
If you add trunks lines then you add to the max calls.

I believe that you can only add a 3rd PRI but I can't remember which software level it needs. Then the PRI can only go in ONE of the modules connected to one of the last two expansion ports and in the module ALL By itself, no other trunk cards.

The software level required is version 6 and above. I thought it was the first slot but does anyone know what the card part number is? I do not want to purchase the wrong one...

P/N - NT7B74AAAA - Nortel T-1 Digital Trunk Interface Card

It goes in the FIRST slot of the Module.

If you only have a 2-port expansion card, it can go in module 3 or 4.
If you have a 6 port expansion, then it goes in module 7 or 8.

Yes, again, the FIRST slot of the 12x0.
The other two slots must be empty.
