on an old 824 with DR5 when you set the speaker volume it resets. The customer thinks it is too loud. Is there anyway to make it stay at the level you adjust it to?

Only on the newer platforms can you set a KSU to use either Set or System volume.
Set volume setting retains users last setting.
Otherwise try a newer version of the M series phone like release 16 or up.
