I have a customer with an 8x24 and they are wondering if you can do a voice call automatically w/o pressing the feature code first on intercom calls?

Program a button to be a Voice Call button. Customer won't have to press the feature code, the button does it for them.

Is there a method to do a voice call automatically? I know on the NEC you can choose between a ring or voice over.

Automatically? no, best you can do is what Yoda recommends, program one of your buttons for voice call.

Please don't mark me on this, but I think there may be a way to programm a key for Voice call plus the extension number(Chaining). I am sure either someone will correct me if I am incorrect or assist with the serious of codes to create a chain to do the Voicecall.

Doubt it would work with an I/C number within the chain...

Depending on the system & phone being used, you might be able to have them do it with just 2 buttons...Voice Call button and a speed dial to what ever I/C you want.

Not saving much time or effort though.

Some clients just want the unattainable.
