Hi I have am a vendor that has come across a BCM50. I am use to working on MICS and I understand that I need to install a network cable and use a program called Element Manager to configure the BCM.
How am I able to get this program and is it easy to use?

You connect to the BCM via Internet Explorer. Then download the Element Manager. Once you have EM running, then you use EM to connect and do your programming. Must know your passwords. Might be very helpful to call in a certified technician.

You can access via the telset if need also but you wont be able to access a whole lot, just the usuals as if it was a Norstar.
In the past you could do the same via **System however this time it's supported by Nortel.
If you know your programming then you should get by in EM but the odd thing you may not find as easy.

1) Connect PC/Laptop to BCM Lan1/Lan 2 and try to reach the BCM with default IP address amd download the Element Manager.
2) If the Default IP doent Work try connecting to the OAM port and access using the default IP address.
3) After installing the element manager you can make the required IP changes and configurations.
