Hi Guys,

I've searched for the above across the forums, but haven't made much headway in my problem. Hoping someone here can help me.

We're trying to setup Outbound Transfer for our IT Department phones here during the christmas season. So far we've done the following:

Turned on Outbound Transfer in our Class of Service

Enabled Outbound Transfer on the phone in question. Set it to dial a number, and the numbers we've tried have been both just the plain number (areacode+7) as well as the Outside Dial Prefix + areacode +7 When transfered to voicemail, and then pressing 7, I'm given a list of options like "To Compose press X to Reply press Y" etc. Any help in getting this working would be awesome

Thanks,

Charles

welcome
Out bound transfer must also be enable in the mailbox as well.

Has your system been enabled for Destination Codes and Routing?

If you have call transfer on your lines you can use the Flash feature to transfer and not tie up two lines.

You may add numbers of channels in VM as well.

If we want to transfer the calls to an external number, we can configure it from the CP server itself..

After the call reaches the voicemail we can customize the option to locate the person / user..

When we have the remote calling number specified in the mailbox configuration, it dials out the number after we select the option to locate the user..

we should be bale to find this in the documentation.....

Better make sure your VM users are using high quality passwords, and not 1111, 1234, or you'll end up with a hefty long distance bill from hackers.

The Call Pilot needs to be using the NVM mode to do external transfers not the Call Pilot mode.
