Soemthing is going on?

I have heard that several times lately,
when trying to retrieve a Key Code.

I had Dealers, Distributors, Canadians and Americans, tech's and no-good-nicks ALL try to lend me a hand.

1st Off: THANKS to Our Community !!!

Maybe because of the Avaya Buy-out, but no one was able to retrieve a code.
I was 99% sure the used system I bought had PRI.
(that 1% is like a bad ground - lingering trust)
When it arrived, it had defaulted (L1 & L2 all phones, No PRI features)

I was about to buy a new PRI enabler when the seller said we should try to retrieve the existing code.

Several people weighed in.
Some felt like Nortel took away their administrative rights.

John Doe 1 went onto Nortel’s Key Code Retrieval site, and all of a sudden his ability to retrieve key codes is grayed out. Asked John Doe 2 and he had the same result.

I am SOL . . . . any ides?

I started this post as a Pre-warning that some may have trouble, with this and other access.

We could be wrong in our access ability, if so, someone please Correct us, for the record, and to stop MY rumor.

Dealer needs to apply for transfer, meaning the authorized dealer needs to tranfer the customer under their name instead of past dealer so that they can then view the codes. Until then they can only see what they have and not the code.

When you get a code write it on the case of the KSU and what its for with Perm. ink so there is a record.
