I've got a MICS6.1 Can I get CLID to display over an ATA set with caller ID, If the call comes into the system over a PRI?

No. ATA's, nor ASM's will pass CLID.

I think the newer ASM's do pass the CLID.

I just had a customer ask about it in December. I told them it wouldn't do it after reading up. I guess I didn't read enough. Maybe I can make a sale.
Does it have to be a MW ASM?
Thanks for the correction, Marv.

You know Rich, I might have been thinking of message waiting and not CLID.

ASM+ has the ability of CLID, if the prompt is set to Yes. This is on the BCM450, not sure on BCM400's.

I don't believe you can pass CLID with any MICS.

CLID will pass on any MICS that is set up properly with CLID cards, but as stated previously NOT through an ATA.
As Marv asked, which system are you talking about or do you even know and are you just trying to get general training here?

There has been some confusion regarding this. The MICS/CICS 7.1 documentation does mention something about CLID and Analog extension. However, it was stated that some docs are "canned" for both BCM and MICS and this particular CLID reference and analog extensions only applies to the BCM. If I'm wrong someone will let it be known.
