Hello, I have a customer with a MICS 4.1, they currently have at the front desk a m7310 with 2 KLM's. They have programmed the KLM's with external autodial's and if a call comes in and the employee is off premise, they would like to press transfer, press the corresponding DSS preprogrammed autodial key and transfer that call to the individual. I have attempted this, and I get "No Free Lines" on the display. But if I just press the preprogrammed autodial key, it works. I have attempted to manually forward the call by pressing transfer,9, then the display states "No Free Lines". Allow Redirect" is yes.I currently am able to call out using "9". It is a PRI by they way. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Does it work if you dial the number instead of relying on a DSS key?

I don't think trunk to trunk transfer was available with 4.1. I may be mistaken, but I know it works fine with 6.1 and later. I'm sure someone here knows for sure.

Try programing a button with Feat *1 -push the button then push I/C key and 9 and then your number and ok. Make sure you program I/C onto the key.

A few things are needed. 1st the phone must have redirect allowed in programming. 2nd the PRI must be enabled for trunk to trunk transfer by the LEC/CLEC. And 3rd you have to have a free I/C path on the phone.

Onsite, reverified allow redirect "yes". Verified with LEC trunk to trunk transfer allowed. The phone has 2 I/C keys. I am able to hit transfer and 9 then send the call off premise, I was incorrect in my original post stating that a call could not be manually transfered, that information was from my tech whom went to the site originally. PRI is partial, 10 channels. Channels 11-23 deprovisioned. When incoming call comes in, I hit the transfer then press the DSS key, which is programmed for 9-xxx-xxxx and I still receive "all lines busy". If I press the DSS key it dials fine everytime.

I'm not convinced you can do a trunk to trunk to using a speed dial button.

I think he said the keys were programmed as external autodials (F*1). I have this working on several systems with 6.1 and later versions of software. They can transfer incoming calls by pressing transfer then the autodial key. If it's not the 4.1 SW, I'm stumped.
