Have a customer with: MICS c/w 5.0 and 6 port exp, 2 0x16, 1 12x0, 3 LS/DS, 1 DID, 1 NAM Running Prelude 3.6 & 1 NAM running NVM 4.1 c/w/5.0 Access They want to expand by 16 station ports, 4 loop trunks and 2 DID trunks This would need 2 expansion ports but only 1 is available. I am thinking of going with PRI. For this would really need to go with 6.1MR for no bugs. If so, NVM would need upgrade to 6.0 Access. This is risky on an 8 year old box so instead I will quote CP150. Prelude 3.6 should be OK with MICS 6.1MR
Anyone know if CP150 will work with NAM/ACD on same MICS, Or, will cust need to go with ACD options on the CP150?

I am pretty sure the CP and the Nam won't work together. The skillsets and agents in the CP are good and then the client will be back on a newer voicemail again. Make it easy for them, as they will be able to adminster the system for changes through the browser.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

NAM 4.1 is compatible with 6.1.
If you go CP you can put 2 150's if needed. One for voice mail the other for CC.

Thx folks. I think the customer would like to hold off on changing out the NAM/Prelude because of the costs involved. Would be nice if a CP150 running VM would be happy on the same MICS with the NAM/Prelude. Can the CP150 CC feature codes be changed or turned off?
I have not found conclusive documentation that suggests it can't work....

CP CC is turned on by keycode. I've never checked to see if the keycodes are inactive if you don't apply the license. Nor have i tried a CP and a Prelude together. You're in uncharted waters.
As for your expansion, you can change the software to XC and then put in a second expansion card.

Thx TeleMarv.
Although it may look like putting good money after bad considering the whole system is relying on an 8 yeard old drive in the NVM NAM & a 6 year old drive in the Prelude NAM.
Good time to look at getting into a new platform. Spending too much now on upgrades is prolonging the inevitable new system replacement. (A lot of the sets are 12 plus years as they were purchased with their previous 8x24 platform)
Tough call.
