ok...i inheriated this problem. old mics...rel 1 solfware...4 basic options in the front side of admin programing. 2 DS cards were swapped out for CI cards. My supplier's tech support says ...oh..its automatic on those...just to the first port. (101) ...and you have to use f811 to pull caller id info to phones where the call has been redirected....i tried everything. I couldnt find anywhere in admin prog. to set any kind of caller id function. and its not working....i asked the customer if they have caller id on those lines..but i didnt have a buttset to listen pre-pbx for the data burst between the first and second ring....is there anything you can think of that i'm missing? before i go back with my hat in my hand and tell them 'their legacy' equip.?

You won't find anything much regarding the CID features on R1T1. To get decent workable CID that you want, 6.1 would be the minimum SW needed.

You have to make sure that you have a CID first. If you do it will appear only on ext. 221(first port) if set is programmed to ring on incoming calls. The rest of the phones should use F811.

Just to add to Vad60, if ext 221 transfers the call, CID will follow.

You can change the CLID set under Lines > telco features, but there can be only one set.
