Good Morning: I am adding lines four and five to a CICS, 30AGK12. Line four works fine on the old DS card, but line five (on a new CI card) won't go to the AA (Flash 2.0). It will ring a set, and you can answer calls manually, but no AA. I am almost certain I missed something in programming, but I can't find it. I used line copy to make sure the trunks are programmed the same, and I set line five to answer by AA and the same number of rings as line four. I have also swapped positions of the card. CI in slot one, DS in two, and tried two CI cards, and interchanged the lines. The problem remains on trunk five. So, I am left with an obvious error in programming (quite possible) or a problem with slot two. Any experience with this? Thanks

There is nothing wrong with the line card if it rings the set. Remember that like on CICS 2.0 (your version) line 005 is line 025. The same is true in the voice mail.

Arrrgh, I missed that entirely. I spent (wasted) a pile on time trying to get the flash to answer line 005, while staring at the programming in the CICS where I had it on line 025. Shoulda known better. Ah, well Monday will start off on a good note, thanks to you. Thanks again! Roddy
