I have used this feature on serveral PRI customers and it works great. I havbe a couple of Analog dailtone customers and they have asked me for this service but I have not been able to get it to work. I get a system recording that says.
"The routing information for this call is not valid."
If I am at the site and I dial into the mailbox and hit 7 it transfers out correctly. It is only when I call in to the system and try to transfer that I get the recording.
They both have compact 7.1 software. Did Nortel restrict it in this software to try and stop the hackers?

Make sure you are using a route and destination not a line pool code. And as Curly said lines must be supervised.
It works internally because you are doing an unsupervised conference like it does with an external line.

Thanks for the tip. I do have it set for Pool 1. I ussually do not use Routes ro Dest codes unless I haev a PRI. That could probably be the differance.
I will give it a try.
